Install the Ubiquiti PowerBeam M5-400-ISO into a variety of network configurations including point-to-multipoint, wireless client, or point-to-point and take advantage of enhanced beamwidth technology. Combined with RF isolation to filter out noise, it delivers a cleaner and more reliable connection. Built-in airMAX technology utilizes the Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) signal which breaks down the signal into specified time slots to reduce collisions. As a result, you receive reduced latency, noise immunity, and improved throughout.

Starting with the first-generation NanoBridge®, Ubiquiti Networks pioneered the all-in-one design for an airMAX® product functioning as a CPE (Customer Premises Equipment). Now Ubiquiti Networks launches the latest generation of CPE, the PowerBeam™.

Improved Noise ImmunityThe PowerBeam M5-400 directs RF energy in a tighter beamwidth. With the focus in one direction, the PowerBeam M5-400 blocks or spatially filters out noise, so noise immunity is improved. This feature is especially important in an area crowded with other RF signals of the same or similar frequency.

Integrated DesignUbiquiti’s InnerFeed technology integrates the radio into the feedhorn of an antenna, so there is no need for a cable. This improves performance because it eliminates cable losses. Providing increased performance from its faster processor and innovative mechanical design at a low cost, the PowerBeam M5-400 is extremely versatile and cost effective to deploy.

Passive PoEUsing PoE technology allows to transmit data stream and power / energy through the enthernet cable which integrates the PowerBeam M5-400 to your network enviroment. There is no need to to install any extra wired power cord. A 24V, 0.5A PoE Injector is included.

airMAX Technology IncludedUnlike standard Wi-Fi protocol, Ubiquiti’s Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller. This time slot method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. It provides significant performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability compared to all other outdoor systems in its class

Robust outdoor designThe mechanical design of the PowerBeam M5 400 provides weatherproof performance. Acitivity and signal strength LED’s provided for installers. Enhanced RF and Ethernet ESD/Surge protection enables prolonged operation in harshest environments. The PowerBeam M5 400 is designed for mast or pole installation.

AirOS SoftwareAirOS is the intuitive, versatile, highly developed Ubiquiti firmware technology. It is exceptionally intuitive and was designed to require no training operate. Behind the user webinterface is a powerful firmware architecture which enables hi-performance networking. Additionally, the AirControl application allows operators to centrally manage 100’s of devices.

Long Distance and TCP/IP ThroughputThe PowerBeam M5 400 is capable of high speed, carrier-class links up to 25km with real TCP/IP throughput of 150Mbps .
